If you like family fare and especially if you have young kids, this is the film for you. "Rio" has lots of color, the 3 D is ok, and the animation is better than most, but the CGI does not meet the "Pixar" standard.
Now it was a little slow in the middle - even for kids. But decent "G" rated films are hard to find, so most families will like it. This is a buddy film, with all the usual sidekicks that are mostly other birds, but there is a cool dog - with some monkeys thrown in too.
"Rio" is also a musical. The songs are mostly good, with a cool tropical beat. It reminded us of "The Lion King" with the dance numbers, as the characters celebrate "Carnival" in Rio de Janeiro.
Take the kids...Leave the teens at home.

How I Mange My Little Workspace
My Workspace is most of my world .At times after all l live in bed at least at least 2/3 of the day , sometimes more, so I had to have one that is like no others . A lap desk suits me well for several of my needs . Its a computer place to hold a small computer that meet my needs. I have a printer , fax, copier ,and a scanner on the top of a set of metal shelves. I have found baskets work better paper boxes so plastic boxes hold a lot of paper, drawings , health and related subjects . If I could I’d have all baskets and closed end shelves that would contain larger books, I could keep it neater.I have my camera bag which and my make up so I utilize the posts of the shelves like a coat rack. The 4 shelves are sufficient for going through my day accomplishing my goals. Somebody like me in bed still has a life and lives a lot of it utilizing the computer . From it I have written 2 books , learned to type. and have talked to good people from all over the world. People and my dog visit me here and make this a happy space. Even with my MS I am a creative human who has a disease . I make the best of the limitations for my family and my community.
